Iron age hill forts, prehistoric sites, patterns of agriculture, ancient beliefs: I find all of these intriguing and in this mixed media painting I explore a particular hill fort set in its modern and ancient environment on the North Norfolk coast. Faint traces of Neolithic tracks and settlements can be glimpsed beneath the modern overlay of roadways and buildings.
